Vrishabha (Taurus) Personality Traits

Vrishabha is an earth sign ruled by the planet Venus.  It is the second sign of the zodiac, which is symbolically related to the second house of Vedic Astrology, an Artha house (Read: The Four Aims of Life: The Purusharthas).  Thus, just like the other Artha houses and signs, Vrishabha has a strong sense and connection to the financial and material aspect of life.  As a result, they tend to be good with finances.  One of their goals in life is to have economic prosperity and security, and the Vrishabha person has critical lessons to learn about money in this life.
Being ruled by Venus, Vrishabha like their surroundings to be aesthetically pleasing.  In this sense they can be very creative and artistic, having a good eye for color and being natural musicians. Vrishabha loves pleasures of all kinds.  Delights can range from enjoying luxurious comforts to good food and wine, to being very earthy, sensuous and tactile.  As a result, this can lead a Vrishabha to become too self-indulgent.
Vrishabha is a very relational sign.  They are warm, friendly, and have steadfast affection towards other people. They are usually good-looking and charming and naturally have smooth social skills.  People are spontaneously attracted to this pleasant and agreeable personality.  It takes a lot for this sign to get angry, but once angered it is difficult for them to forgive.  They can have very fixed ideas, and be quite stubborn at times.  However, Vrishabha is very loyal, patient, and stable in relationships.
Being a fixed sign, they have a pretty conventional outlook on life and prefer well-designed classic styles over trendy fashions.  In this way, they are simple, down to earth, natural, and realistic.  They are content with ordinary life, and thus are pragmatic and not necessarily ambitious like the fiery Aries sign.  They seek security and stability and do not like change.  The shadow side to this is that they can be too realistic about life, and miss the forest for the trees in the spiritual sense.  They lack spiritual imagination and are not attuned to the unseen realms of life.  They can be too focused on the earthy material side of experience that there is no appreciation or devotion towards lofty spiritual ideals.
Nevertheless, Vrishabha has a karma to fulfill by learning to transcend the attachment to financial and material security by learning powerful lessons about such possessions.  Whether they are wealthy or poor, the lessons about money and possessions are inevitable.  Life will throw the Vrishabha into challenging financial situations until the Vrishabha person realizes that life is not what it appears to be, and economic stability and security are not required to reach the ultimate goal of life.

Moon in Swati Nakshatra

Do you have Moon in Swati Nakshatra? Swati Nakshatra is ruled by Vayu, or deified wind. Therefore, this Nakshatra's Shakti (power of expression) is to scatter like the wind. It expresses the desire for freedom and to move like the wind in all directions. It is a wanderer, a traveler, a seeker, and a messenger. If you have Moon in this Nakshatra, you do not like to be constrained in any one place or situation. You will try to run away if you feel like a situation or person is trying to tie you down. And you may not do this consciously. It is just that you are on a quest for freedom and fresh air. Vayu represents the divine breath of the gods. A strong Moon placed here will give you the ability to purify your mind and body through the power of breathing exercises effortlessly. You may have a natural talent for achieving deep meditative states through Pranayama.  Vayu also represents celestial music and you will show a desire or inclination towards music and artisti...

Mithuna is an air sign ruled by the planet Mercury.  Being the third sign of the zodiac, Mithuna is connected symbolically to the third house of Vedic Astrology, which is a Kama house ( Read: The Four Aims of Life The Purusharthas ).  Kama houses are 3, 7, and 11th house.  These are the desire houses.  Thus, Mithuna has an intense desire nature. Mithuna is flirtatious, loving, relational, easy-going, and sensuous.  However, they can be fickle in relationships because they can get bored very quickly.  But they do not just get bored in relationships; they quickly get bored with pretty much everything. Rahu/Venus Conjunction in Paula Abdul's Vedic Astrology Chart

Julie Paula Abdul Date and Time of Birth: June 19, 1962 14:32 (2:32 PM; PTD -7:00) Place of Birth: Los Angeles, CA Paula Abdul is a famous American singer. She is a prime example of a person having a Rahu-Venus combination. According to Barbara Pijan Lama, Rahu- Venus gives “amplified beauty, pleasure, and wealth – an exotic (and perhaps notorious) love life”; as well as “exotic appetites of the physical body (addictions, excessive pleasures)”. For one thing we know she has beauty and wealth, no questions asked. As for a notorious love life, this comes along with being famous. In Paula’s case, she unfortunately is not the exception and has had two failed marriages which did not make it past the two-year mark. What are the reasons for this? If we take a look at her chart things seem to be somewhat clear-cut. Her 7thlord of relationships Jupiter is in the 6th house of obstacles. Its despositor (lord of that house) Saturn is with the nodes of the moon, Ketu and Rahu...
